Ryō is a timid and reserved girl with a crush on a troublemaker from her class, often blushing and stumbling for words when trying to talk to him. She is also a class representative, just like her more outgoing sister Kyou. Ryō depends a lot on her older sister, even in the matters of the heart. But even when she is successfully set up with the person she has feelings for, it seems Ryō can't manage to win against her own uncertainty.
Ryō is very friendly, willingly helping others with whatever they ask for, whether it be something sincere or silly. Once, she pretended to be boy's 'female form', tricking an underclassman with the famous line, "It falls off every now and then." She herself can be rather gullible at times, and is easily swayed by the mood. One of her favorite hobbies is fortune telling, and she sometimes uses tarot cards to try and persuade her reluctant classmates to watch her. Even though her predictions are frequently off the mark, she never stops trying, persistent until the very end, with fortune telling and other things.
Ryō's overflowing kindness is always looking for an outlet, and her ambition is to become a nurse and aid those in need. But will it really turn out that it doesn't pay to be nice?
